BOMBANANA! on Steam Deck (and Mac)
Steam Deck Status
Unconfirmed. No public source we track documents a Steam Deck verification badge, Deck-specific testing, or controller layout for BOMBANANA!. That does not mean it fails — it means nobody has verified it.
What to check before buying for Deck:
- The Steam Deck Compatibility badge on the store page (Verified / Playable / Unsupported) — the only signal that matters.
- Whether the game requires precise keyboard input for your role: the Calculator module uses a nine-key keypad, and the community suggests numpad-style mappings for gestures. A controller-first layout could make the Mute and Blind roles awkward.
- Voice chat is core to the game (lobby, microphone and voice-delay issues appear in official hot-fix notes), so a Deck setup needs a working mic path.
If you test it, remember: three players minimum, and each of you can be on a different machine — the game is online co-op.
Mac Status
Confirmed for the demo: Steam lists the free demo on Windows and macOS, and public game overviews describe the full-game Steam release as PC (Windows and macOS). One fan FAQ claims Windows-only — when sources conflict, the Steam listing wins; check the store page system requirements for your macOS version before purchase.
Practical notes for Mac teams:
- Voice chat and lobby stability have been hot-fix topics on PC; test a casual round before a serious session.
- No separate Mac port exists outside Steam — ignore any "Mac download" mirrors.
